The E4 Swing Gate Operator, by Viking Access Systems, is a residential linear arm actuator that has been designed for use with gates up to 850 lbs. and up to 10 ft. wide or 550 lbs and 16 ft. wide. It features an operating speed of 12-16 seconds per 90 degrees and meets the most current UL35 Class I standards. This makes the E4 optimal for a wide range of uses such as homes, condominiums, or other high-traffic residential installations.

The E4 Swing Gate Operator comes with a built-in control board that has a lower power automatic sleep mode and surge protection. It also features two backup batteries that can run up to 400 cycles on the backup mode. This operator has a break-away joint that will spit in two when there is a light impact to the gate. This prevents the primary gear drive from being damaged beyond repair. Additional features include lockable manual release, lightning, and surge protection, and UV powder covering to protect against weather and corrosion.
